Batch #1.008 (July 24)

From: IGM <<Independent Gladiator Information Messenger>>
Subj: Bio-Killer Retires
It appears that "Bio-Killer" Drake Monikers, Justich Federation regular and one of the most promising up and comers has turned down a contract with the Ophidian League and has announced his retirement. This is not the first time a Justich Federation star has left since the turnover of the Justich Federation to Ophidian control, with Engine Jen and The Starsplitter among other notables, however this sign of defiance has been lighter than many insiders had expected. Apparently, the Ophidians are offering contracts that very few can refuse.

Subj: Can it get any worse?
No! Can you believe this? Starsplitter and now Bio-killer? I'm glad those Pidian hucks are getting a slap in the face, but now the sport is suffering.

Subj: He may be right.
For once I agree with arena fan, the sport suffers when good gladiators leave because of politics. But then again, maybe its less about pride and more about fearing the competition. Bio-killer may have been one of the up and comers in the Justich Federation but how would he fair in the Ophidian League?

Subj: Bio-killer is a patriot.
Bio-Killer is 2-to-1 against the Ophidian League in Intersystem tourneys and promotional matches, a stellar record and one that does not support the view that the competition of the Ophidian League was the cause of his decision. It was one of morality and dedication to what the Justich Federation once was and the current state of the game. I applaud his effort even as I mourn his loss.

Subj: You tell em Super_IQ!
Bio-Killer is like me, rebelling against the conspiracy. It's just a shame that he had to sacrifice his career to huck with those Opidlian creepos.
