P.K. Demoted
P.K.'s sudden return is a shock to everyone but what may be a shock to P.K. is that he has been reduced from his former 3VP rank to a 1VP rank. Although the Ophidian ranking committee states that the change is due to ranking deflation over the span of years since P.K. last fought, many others say that it has been done to punish P.K. for leaving when he did, and a possible breach of contract.
Whatever the reason's, an insider that has seen P.K. in training believes he will quickly rise in rank again.

Opac Joins Ophidian
Unconfirmed word has come in that a new Gladiator, Opaq Sentir, who won the Body and Mind Finals in Yashrad has been contracted by Ophidian for the upcoming season and that he will start at a high rank, either 2 or 3 VP. He surprised competitors by combining Psi abilities with a highly developed mastery of weapons, an unusual talent for Spectrals strong in Psi. It may be that this unusual combination is part of what impressed the Ophidian scouts. He should prove interesting to watch!
