This card, similar to Arachnabots in some ways, can deal up to 4 XDMG for 6 CP. Make sure your opponent’s characters are all set and in the action field. Getting them all into the action field might require some effort and you might consider using the help of a Sweeper and/or some Tainted Yang. (Remember a raging character cannot use the standard retreat.) Queen Alexandra and Version 9 might help out too. Also keep in mind, a Demented Maggot Swarm makes Simon Bantus’ Triage ability less effective.
