Pestilence

This card slows down your opponent’s aggression if he has a lot of characters. Before the pumped gladiator can set to attack or use an ability, the gladiator’s controller must make sure that there are as few characters in the same field as that gladiator. Field setup becomes more important for the opponent, and he is going to start retreating characters so that the pumped gladiator can attack.
Remember this: a set character cannot use the standard advance action. A set character cannot advance (unless a card ability says so). This is great for abilities that are useable only in the support field. Suddenly, Opac Sentir isn’t in a rush to use his unsetting ability anymore. Neither are Berserker, Pago, Simon Bantus, PK, The Stranger, Version 9, Ryla, Little Jinx, Striking Dragon, Maximillion, Queen Alexandra, Arkzilipul, and four out of six of the reinforcement gladiators.
Combo it with Contagion and you can really force your opponent to slow down.
