This minion is very simple and not very effective by its self, however with Bomb Blastic or Violent Quiver it makes for a great combo. It’s a double positive, meaning you play it as a positive and then you can use its ability right away and still keep the flow. Unless of course, your opponent pays 1 of his or her cheer to make either action a negative and then gain the flow after.
Keep in mind this minion can attack but it will deal no ADMG. But you can use its ability from the Support Field (you don’t have to move him up).
A common misconception with this and other cards that cause a character to retreat is this, if the target character is raging it can still retreat thanks to this card. A raging character cannot retreat on their own.
