Arthritic Bile

For 2 CP, you can shut down weapons and armor for one character. This card might seem narrow, but it effects all level 1 weapons and armor not just War weapons and armor. That means Phase Blades and Kinetic Shield in Cybernetics would not be played on the character you affect. Plus this card is great in one-on-one competitions against War gladiators.
Here's something interesting, play it on your own gladiators so that cards like Electro Chains cannot target them.
The downsides of this card include its scrap maintain (which means you cannot pay CP to maintain it, it will be scrapped during the Maintain step), the fact that your opponent will play the weapons or armor on another gladiator (which might be good thing, let him play it on his Stallion who has less life, that means the weapon or armor will not be around for that long), and the fact that it only stops level 1 weapons and armor.
