Xarz'ycus is one hard-hittin' demon. His Presence ability is useable only while not raging. It is a great way to bring any portal minion straight from your arsenal to your hand at the beginning of the wave (theoretically you start the wave with an extra card). Since he is paying life to use that ability, you can get him that much closer to raging, which shuts off this ability but activates his 3rd- and 4th-level ability: Embolden. With that, you can pay 2 CP to increase the DMG of your portal minions' attacks. Make sure he's set, or you can't do it. Of course jumping to 3 ADMG on 2nd level and 4 ADMG on 4th level are always useful as well.
P.o.G. makes a great team with The Fallen One, Little Jinx, and either P.K. or Poc Shot.
