Distraction

Distraction is a great Defensive Response card. Since it reduces the damage of an attack, it allows you to play a more aggressive game, setting more of your gladiators to attack. This leaves less options available to intercept or protect, but that is where Distraction comes in handy. Most attacks are one or two damage anyway, so when one of your gladiators is attacked, you can reduce the damage they take. Taking more damage than one Distraction can handle? Use two or more since you can use copies of a card for a response. In addition to reducing the damage of an attack to a gladiator, Distraction more importantly has that element of surprise, you can use it on ANY gladiator.
