Subj: Krevlocs Invade Gasherdel!
We are getting reports from numerous sources on Gasherdel, in the Garina System, of an invasion of krevlocs. Until recently, Gasherdel was krevloc-free. Neighboring planets of Gal-rul and Shash-Gulvanis were already under quarantine. Luckily, Gasherdel has been on yellow alert for a long time. This will give the Gasherdel people a good chance to contain the menace and eliminate it before it gets out of hand.
The source of the invasion, though, is not confirmed at this time. Some say it is a subspace anomaly which allows the krevlocs to breach the quarantine. Experts are being sent in to identify, and then eliminate this problem.

Subj: Wastelands Increase 40% on Solop Avagar
If natural disasters weren't enough, the people and animals on Solop Avagar are now facing an erosion of life-sustaining land. So far, 371,000 square miles of lush soil has unexpectedly become an infertile wasteland. The effects of this include migrations, food shortages, a stump in population growth, disease, and death.
Some plant and animal life are being sent to zoos on nearby planets as a precautionary act of preservation. Avagarsians hope and pray for this to be over. There is not much else anyone can do at this moment.
