Subj: First Match of the Circuit Coming Up
The Ophidian Circuit is off to a start right here in Sept Bracius. The planet Yashrad is a lush paradise and also home to the famous Olden Sphere Arena. The first match of the Ophidian Circuit is held there each year. This year, Ironsides and Prince of Gates face each other once again. Last year, the Prince won the Championship. How will he start things off?
Ironsides brings with him Mannequin, a tyro-veteran of the arenas, and two femme fatales who are new to the Circuit: Leetah Kalynda and Taa Ra.
Xarz’ycus is assembling a pretty mean team consisting of Version 9 and The Stranger plus his partner from the 2339 Championships, the infamous PK. The Stranger is new to the Circuit and both PK and Version 9 have been lowered in rank. Does the Prince and his team have the unity needed to prevail? Will Ironsides and his team be able to adapt to whatever their opponents can dish out? Find out this Friday night.

Subj: Justich Council Leader in the Hot-Seat as Truth About Ophidian Contract Comes to Light
Justich Council leader Devor Bramain found himself surrounded by angry council emissaries as the revelation that he signed an additional contract amendment with the Ophidians upon his trip to Sysslanth has been discovered. Among other additions, the contract amendments allow the Ophidians sovereign right over native Justich species for use in the Ophidian League and the right of asylum for prosecution for any member of the Ophidian League.
These recent amendments explain the Ophidians' claims made at a press conference earlier this week, but raise more questions about Devor Bramain and his motives for signing the papers without consultation with the rest of the council. Even members of Bramain's own House have been open in criticizing the move.

Subj: Devor Bramain Releases Statement on Recent Ophidian Contract Scandal
Under strong pressure from the Ophidian Council, Devor Bramain released the following statement only hours after the Ophidian contract scandal was brought to light. "The amendment signed was in my power as Council Leader to accept, and even though recent press has focused on some aspects that are seen as negative, there are many benefits to the signed amendment. The point of the amendment was to cement a stronger relationship between the Justich Federation and the Ophidian League and once the full story is heard, the citizens of the Justich System and the members of the Justich Council will come to understand the importance of the document. The council entrusted me to act in their best interest and I have not betrayed that trust."

Subj: Ophidian League Responds to Allegations of Kidnapping
Many Houses on the Justich council are calling for answers from the Ophidians in regard to the recent acquisition of the Red Pariah and rumors of the involvement of the now nefarious pair, Bull's Eye and Goth Garal. After days with no official word, an Ophidian Agent released the following statement today:
"Our acquisition of the Red Pariah was a legal act according to the amended articles of our contract with the Justich Federation, and we will prove that fact in the next coming days. In the meantime, we feel it necessary to take measures to protect Bull's Eye and Goth Garal from the recent allegations that have been made against them. We now invoke a right of asylum from prosecution for the pair until their innocence in any illegal activities can be proven. This right has also been given to us under the new articles of the Justich Federation contract. We will not answer any questions at this time."
The news of a contract amendment seemed as much a surprise to the Justich Council members as it did to the local populace. All Houses are demanding answers from Justich Council Leader Devor Bramain, who recently met with the Ophidians. He has yet to comment.
